I'm using the external Dolby Atmos Renderer and the Bed channels label should be 1-10 channels not 1+9. It was labeled fine in Studio One 6. I reported this bug and they said it should be fixed in an up coming release. I thought that was what they were fixing my mistake. I guess that fix is still coming. That is not the Renderer, nor is that a speaker name. No way they will ever be able to fit multichannel output routing within the normal channel width.
And why should it be +10? Unlikely you have 11 output channels instead of 10 (5.1.4) or 12 (7.1.4).
The label should be showing 1-10 for the bed channels 1-10 (channels one thru ten) not 1+9. Like I said it was showing correctly in Studio One 6. PreSonus has confirm it is a bug and said it will fixed in a future update. Maybe you need to read my previous post again. See attachment from Studio One 6. Also if you look again at my attachments you will see (7.1.2).1 + 9 means output channel 1 + 9 other output channels.
I don’t see what is wrong there.
And it has nothing to do with the Bed or the Renderer, it is just how S1 shows more than 2 outputs (i.e. multichannel) in a mixer channel: Channel x + an n amount of other output channels.
Are you using the External Dolby Atmos Renderer App with Studio One? Also I never said it was a big issue but a bug to fix nevertheless.I see what you mean now. It used to show consecutive outputs like that but non-consecutive outputs like it is now. But in v7 the consecutive view is dropped and always showed like this. I don't see it as a big issue tbh, but if you say so...
OK, I thought so………… that explains it all.I use the internal Renderer.
Duh! You seem to really keep trying to make something out of this, Its not a big deal my friend. Have a good day.But this has nothing to do with the renderer? It is about how multichannel outputs are displayed.
