Region Big White Border

Hey all. In SO7, is there any way to disable the big white border that appears when clicking on a region? I'm a fan of the new round corners but finding the bigger border quite distracting, especially with overlaps and crossfades so really hoping there is a way to change this back to thin less distracting border of versions past
