Solved Receiving MIDI notes but not recording them

hey all

any idea why MIDI monitor says notes are being detected by S1 but is not neither triggering the instrument nor recording them?

was working perfectly until yesterday and both the track (it's a track preset that always worked) and the esternal instrument look ok to me?

surely I'm missing something silly somewhere.

not sure what happened but I've set both to CTRL MIDI and now it works again
Might be helpful for someone else using Maschine both as

- MIDI controller (I've mapped the entire HW mirroring each button with the correspondent S1 function)
- MIDI keyboard





PS: if someone is interest I can upload the Maschine template for S1 I made. Still WIP but everything is already mapped.

MIDI EXT
MIDI CTRL

Can someone shed a light?
