Random Preset for Built-In Instruments

Can anyone think of a way to make, say, Impact XT load a random preset?

I was playing with a generative drum VST yesterday and I was having fun swapping in different Impact XT kits but a random button would have increased the fun.

I thought it might be something a macro could do but it looks like I only have next and prev preset. I guess a macro could do "next preset" a random number of times but that would be a bit clunky, and probably slow.

From the Presonus end it would be very simple for the to add a random button to the "preset bar" but I might be in a minority in thinking that would be useful!

I'm not aware of a way to randomize presets.

Thanks, but I'll pass on that FR site. It's ultra rare for anything to gather enough traction to make it into the product and the site is almost dead now that they killed off the other forums, not helped by their erroneous message that you need a subscription to be able to login. The two leading FRs have been going for nine years and six years respectively. We might as well send a letter to Santa!

I was hoping one of you S1 experts might know some macro magic that would do the trick. In the meantime I'm using a third party drum VST that panders to my unreasonable demands.

Macros can't do this. Macros can only use existing commands and there's no command for randomized presets.
