The annoyance of having to turn on after loading the operating system is that after such a sequence, each time you have to indicate which device supports sound. De facto you have to prepare the environment for operation. Instead of simply turning on the computer and S1 and working.Use a power sequencer? Example for further searching.
Can you please post the In and out latencies at 48k? In your former post, you said output latency is 1,8 ms. at 48k. Thanks.I was able to trace where this input latency dka 48kHz at 56ms. And more specifically how to reduce it.
I don't know why but if the interface is turned on before the computer is turned on (macOS Sequoia) there is a large input latency when the computer is turned on.
If I turn on the interface after the system has finished loading, the latency drops to 1.2ms.
All in all, this is quite inconvenient. Do you have any ideas to make it work with low latency right away?
I have a situation that when I turn on the interface before turning on the computer then after loading the system and starting Studio One, for 48kHz sampling installment I have 56ms Input latency. Can you please post the In and out latencies at 48k? Thanks. Presonus seems to work still on the drivers.I have a situation that when I turn on the interface before turning on the computer then after loading the system and starting Studio One, for 48kHz sampling installment I have 56ms Input latency.
However, when I do otherwise, first turn on the computer and after loading the system I turn on the HD8 interface then in Studio One at 48kHz sampling rate I have 1.6ms input latency and this for a block of 16 samples. For a block of 64 samples it is 2.1ms.
Yes they have their dedicated driver. At least that's what they say on the interface videos.Thanks. Presonus seems to work still on the drivers.
