Project went sharp

Well I'd say you should try and repeat the process but really watch what you're doing.

Some things get by us.

How would you add a virtual instrument to an audio track?

You mean you added a VI to a song with 6 audio tracks in it? Songs in Cubase are projects, here it's the mastering process.

Then it raised the pitch of your audio tracks?

Have to see your setup, sounds like it would be something to do with the timestretch properties of the audio tracks.

By adding i mean in addition to...

An entire project went exactly one step sharp when i added a virtual instrument to 6 or 7 audio tracks
??????? Oh yeah.V6.4.4
Oh yeah  But what is your question?

In forums (but basically in general), it's a good idea to describe your problem or ask your question in some detail to help us help you. More details please :-) For example, a good way to start would be to put your system specs in your signature.

If an entire song suddenly changes pitch, it may be a sample rate problem. Check if the sample rate of your song has changed and if it's in sync with your audio interface settings.

Well everything is in tune with itself so I'm not sweating it. But I got something new. In Mai Tai I had selected a pad with voice preset. Used it just fine. But now the voice is on any preset that I choose. I just can't get rid of it. V6.4.4 Dell computer windows 11 never been any stress on the CPU whatsoever. I write to a terabyte external hard drive. Anybody got a clue?
