hey all
I followed the tuts on YT to permanently map the Keylab Essential 88 MKII to VSTs and plugins but I'm not 100% how S1 handles these
Yesterday I started this big quest by mapping Mai Tai and was working just fine. But today all those mappings, in a new sessions, are gone.
2 questions to make I got how S1 works right
- in S1 once you map a VST/plugin is stored for good from now on, in any sessions you use that VST/plugin?
- If I want to control Mai Tai via the Keylab (with existing mappings) do I need to specify every time which device among the list on the upper left and turn that on so that's yellow? (I've got the Keylab Keyboard, Keylab Control, Atom, Atom SQ so there's a bunch of them but I've set it up in a way that none of them is the default but rather "All MIDI Inputs")
If you could answer these even with a simple yes or no would be dope: at least I get a confirmation it's actually possible in S1 and got back and re-watch those YT tutorials to see which step I missed.
Thank you!
