Offline latency compensation

I wonder if any of you brainy people have the answer to this:

I’ve been experimenting with a few different clippers in Studio Pro. V-Clip 2 allows you to set a different working oversampling value to the offline value. With Kazrog K-Clip, this feature is disabled with the message “your host does not refresh latency compensation values when running offline”. Now, my question is; is this true for Studio Pro? If so I may need to rethink how I use a bunch of plugins that I have set to have significantly higher offline render oversampling values. I’m curious if anyone knows for certain… @Lukas @Ari

Since you have the DAW and the plugins, why don't you try it out and let us know how it goes?

…I was being lazy, but have now tested it and can confirm that studio pro does compensate correctly regardless of whether oversampling is the same in both online and offline settings. However, whilst testing I noticed that even with no plugins and a fresh session, exporting audio (whether it be export mixdown, or export stems or any other form of export) always renders the file 1 sample late from the original. I noticed another thread here talking about the same thing. As yet I can’t see a reason for it.
