Hi, I don't know under what genre I would put tis one. Any suggestions? I would like to know where you would put it under.

Recorded and mixed in S1 6.

I'd love to have an organ in there, but one can't have it all😁

The song is about depression (me)

Um, sorry, I'll tell you what I think.;)
The voice just disappears in the mix, and that's why in some places you can't hear the lyrics.
Look at the bass guitar frequency 235-250. Something is wrong there.
The song is too "stretched" in length. After the third minute it starts to get boring. All this can be said in three minutes.
The kick drum is too quiet.

But I liked the song itself.(y)

P.S. I don't know what genre this is. It's somewhat similar to Nick Cave's songs. That's a compliment!:)

Bruh, love this song.
What I like:
▪︎ Mix is very nice, and well executed. Nice job in the chorus with the subtle and short echo on words like "fade away". It's the little things that make a song, and that vibe is on time.

• Vocal doubling, real nice, subtle enough treatment to not disturb the vox.

• Overal vibe of this song reminds me of an early seventy's rock, almost folk-rock feel. It's all your own.

• Album cover is awesome, bro.
What I don't like:
• Nothing. All good.

The fact that you come back to melody after the break, works because the strumming allows for that in this song. Something you don't make a habbit of, as I've heard some of your other songs. I think this song stands out as your better ones.

Peace, and keep up the good work.

Excellent track, IMO. Everything works as it is. I don't agree that the vocals are too buried in the mix. I tend to mix with the vocals too up front and this makes the listener "work" more for them. A good thing in this type of song, IMO. Adds to the moody theme of the song. Real nice job.

Awesome track! Nice open mix with lots of surprising elements popping up every now and then. The layered guitars and vocals are wonderful. I get the point of the vocals being not too loud, but for me, they blend well into the mix and are fitting to the total.
What stuck out for me were a couple of the higher bass notes, they were spiking a bit to hard for me (but maybe I need to get my bedroom to be sonicaly treated).

Dude this is great!! As far as genre goes, I’d say Rock, with maybe Americana is the subgenre. Reminds me of my favorite era of Wilco, and sounds like it could be on their superb album “Sky Blue Sky.” You’ve got killer clean, simple and subtle production here and it’s motivating me to start to begin to get ready to think about maybe possibly upload one from my first solo album. I’ve only been on this forum for about an hour, but I’ve yet to see a bad review in response to your great work here. Put up some more!

Coming in late to say this is a rock record, and a good one. Evocative, melancholy vibe. We all have those feelings -- and I hope you're OK now. 🙃 I didn't catch all the words, but I got the song. Only thing I would have done differently is add some sparse lead guitar on the fadeout. Congrats!
