Solved New song menu always open on factory template and never on my own one in user menu ?

How come mt song menu always open on factory template and never on my own template i create in user menu ?
Even if open my own template 100 times a day S1 presents me first the factory templates i dont want, is there a way to set this once for all because it adds always more clicks...

No i dont say im unable to open my own template, i just wonder why S1 always propose me to open first the factory template instead of mine ?
Why a double click would change anything btw ? ( i tried but no success)

Well I guess the answer is that's just how Studio One is setup. If you can actually open your template then there reall is no issue.

I'm running Studio One Pro 7 and Windows 11. Each time I start Studio One I have to choose my user template but not after closing a song and creating a new one. As long as I don't shutdown Studio One my user template is selected by default when I create a new song.
Is that not what's happening for you?

Wow I totally missed that he may have had that setting opening by default. Good catch Trucky!

One thing is sure my studio one 6 does not act like that and never reopen on my user template....

Most likely because the option was not on.

I'm using Studio One Pro 7 but I checked using Studio One Pro 6 and it responds the same for me as it does in Studio One Pro 7.
Each time I start Studio One I have to manually choose my user template. However, when I close the song (not exiting Studio One) and click the + to create a new song the New window displays the User tab and the template I was using already selected. So it works for me as expected as long as I don't shutdown Studio One. I'd recommend submitting a Support Ticket (see link in my signature) if it doesn't work that way for you.

Ok i lil feedback
S1 has good side but some very serious bugs. ( at least on Mac)
Each time i want to "save as" it directs me to HD Mac folder instead of my current song folder.
If you need this feature once a day its ok but several times a day it begin to be a real pain....
Same thing when i want to export it directs me always to mixdown and never remember my choice...
These bugs are not acceptable and SLOW your workflow so dramatically.

Ok i've been a bit too harsh because the saving process when performing a "save as" seems to correctly directly in the current song if you repeat the operation.... finally !
