I have a situation where a sustained midi note is being cut off and then, after some silence, played again at a lower volume/velocity.
It doesn't appear to be related to the midi event. I can replace the midi and the same thing happens. It's not related to the instrument VST as I can replace that and it still occurs.
If I duplicate the track, the problem persists on the new track.
If I make a completely NEW track, the midi plays back fine.
So, somewhere on my track there is a gremlin having some fun with me.
It's not automation... any ideas of what it could be?
Obviously I can get around this by making a new track, copying over midi data etc., but I'd love to learn from this.
