Studio One has the eraser tool, which IMO is the best thing in the history of the world, since I can paint very fine notes and events for deletion with granular control.
Is there an 'eraser-esque' way to select individual notes by dragging the mouse over them, by hook or by crook, or by script?
That would be awesome.
My current way to select multiple notes is just the default rectangular marquee with SHIFT held down, but this if often cumbersome and time-consuming, and lacks the elegance and control of the eraser tool.
EDIT:
I JUST discovered that the Mute Tool has this feature where if you drag normally it marquees, but if you click and drag from inside a note in the editor, it will let you paint notes to mute just like the Eraser tool.
So cool! Been using the software since '10 and didn't know that...
