Solved Moving S1-7 to new laptop question about installation of add-ons

Hi all: My old Windows 10 laptop is nearing its demise. I have a new and much more capable Windows 11 laptop now. I just installed Studio One 7 and have a question. I see that things are a bit different in terms of installing all the add-ons compared to the old days. I looked on MyPresonus and I see that there were 27 things that I could download. So, I downloaded all of them and clicked on "Install" for each one. My question is, what happens to all of those 27 downloaded files that are in my Downloads folder. Do they have to remain on my laptop or can I delete them. If they have to remain on my laptop I don't want them in my Downloads folder

Check the "Documents\Studio One\Sound Sets" folder on your new laptop to see if all 27 soundsets were successfully installed to that folder.
If so, you can delete them from the Downloads folder.

Hello Trucky: Yes, those files were in the soundset folder. I deleted them from the Downloads folder and emptied the Recycle Bin too. Thank you so much for your answer.

So, another question. Where does one find all of these sounds in Studio One? For example, what is the "Sample Magic Loops and Kits"? What instruments or loops does this soundset correspond to? It's all a bit of a jumble for me at the moment in terms of how it's all organized and where all these soundsets end up fitting into the program. I would like to understand how the 27 soundsets fit into the functioning of Studio One 7

Open up the Studio One Browser and click the "Loops" tab to see what you're asking about.

Yes, I have done that and I see all the loops in that section. My question is about the "Sample Magic Loops and Kits" or any of the other loop kits. It looks like there are 6 files labeled as loop kits in the 27 soundsets. So, I should assume that all of those loops in those 27 soundsets are distributed somehow in the list under the "Loops" tab, and I as a user have no information as to which loops come from which soundset. Is that correct or am I missing something? I just want to wrap my brain around what I'm seeing on the screen.

Just right click on one of the "Sample Magic" loops and select "Show in Explorer" to show which soundset it's from...

Got it! Many thanks Trucky and Lukas for your guidance. It makes more sense now.
