Moving horizontally in Console with keyboard short cut?

Hi,

I want to use my SSL UF1's jog wheel to scroll the console view. But I can do it only by assigning a keyboard shortcut to it. Any suggestions?

Try with the Navigation|Page Up/Down command. This will make it scroll up and down on the arranger window too.

Edit: Navigation|Left/Right might work better but try both.

Left/Right jumps between channels, causing the fader to jump around. I just want to scroll the view.

Have you contacted SSL Support yet to see if what you're wanting is possible?

The UF1 manual shows the following for the Jog Wheel...

There is a user option in the S360 software, but I have to specify a keyboard shortcut. I'm still unsure how to scroll the consol view with a keyboard shortcut

Try assigning these commands...

Navigation - Left Skip
Navigation - Right Skip

Even when I set it in SSL360, it has NO effect. The jog wheel just scrolls through the timeline

Did you contact or submit a ticket to SSL Support?
If so, what did they say?

I did. They say the issue is with S1 because it worked in v6.2 and now it's not.

Did you have to manually assign commands (if so, which commands) for it to work in SO v6.2 or did it work natively?

I assigned a keyboard shortcut to a command in S1, and then assigned those two shortcuts to the jog wheel. It worked but it moved too slowly. I only noticed now you can make bigger jumps with the page up/down skip. But nothing works now
