Momentary and Latchable keyswitches in Presence

Below is how I'm programming my CC momentary keyswitches on my keytar in order to play the keyswitch articulations in Studio One's Presence:

So, I'm currently running a setup where I'm using my Roland AX-Edge keytar as a midi controller and have somehow figured out how to change the programmable CC keyswitches on the keytar to MIDI notes via first splitting the MIDI channel using MidiSplit with one of the splits going into NextMidi Merger and another going to Bome MIDI Translator Pro and then from Bome back to the Merger in order to change the MIDI CC into MIDI notes on the keytar. I then put the NextMidi Merger as the input for my keytar into Studio One so I get my velocity keys, ribbons, and mod bar from the first instance and then the CC MIDI to MIDI notes capability to allow me to control the keyswitches on Studio One's Presence.

The problem is though that even though that Studio One has "momentary" keyswitches when editing the MIDI on the pad, there lacks a function to do it while I'm trying to play the keyswitches live as if I'm playing an actual guitar. My idea is to get all the harmonics, slides, mutes, pinch harmonics, tapping, and etc. on the neck of my keytar so I can play/record them live as I go and not afterwards in edit. Would anyone know a workaround to make the keyswitches in Presence to be more Momentary (for example, when I press on a keyswitch, it acts just like a regular note in the piano roll where when played the sound keeps playing until release.. and then once released, it goes back to the basic sound of the instrument)? It also doesn't help that Studio One's presence instruments like the Nylon guitar that has keyswitches does not have the ability to be momentary even after recording in editing. It also would be useful if I can personally assign articulations to keyswitches instead of having to use their input a key to an already known keyswitch key on S1's piano roll. After an extensive search on what's already available on the internet, I've found nothing except for just using another guitar VST like Orange Tree Samples or Musiclab where their keyswitches are momentary and easily assignable (I wouldn't have to go through my MIDI Splitting setup I don't think).. I might as well buy one of those expensive guitar VSTs, but I'd like to try to do it first with Presence if possible.

TL;DR: Would any of you know a workaround so I can actually have fun playing with Presence's keyswitch instruments? It's just so cumbersome to go back and forth between harmonics and an open sound in S1's Presence (back and forth between two latch buttons) and would rather have the articulations just be momentary where I would press a CC/note and have that articulation play only for however long I press that note. And before anyone tells me to just learn guitar (I've tried and taken a class), I just don't like callouses or bleeding (I've also been playing piano for about 25 years now and would much prefer my soft piano hands)

Also if someone knows as a bonus which MIDI foot pedal controllers (with more than 2 switches) that have momentary switch function instead of all being latch? Or would I have to modify an existing pedal with momentary switches? All I've seen are latch pedals.. it would be cool if I could play like the drums or something with just my feet with momentary pedals while I play my keytar and sing. If all MIDI foot pedal controllers are MIDI CC.. I can try changing them with Bome... As a side note... I just don't like editing what I've played after the fact and would rather have a lot of recordable live skill. I was trying to look at the FCB1010 but then found out that they are also just all latch. Perhaps this https://www.amazon.com/Studiologic-...text&ref_=fplfs&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&gQT=1&th=1 but cheaper? my wallet :( (a used Roland PK-5 I just saw might work too but it's still so expensive)

I was just on S1 5.5 and just bought 7 today just for reference (which I really didn't need but.. I really got sucked in with that upgrade discount.. perhaps I can do something with their new looping lmao.. idk what I'm doing with my life haha)
