Migrating data to new Mac

Hi!

ok, now I got my new MacBook and for several reasons I decided to skip the TimeMachine restore and do a setup from scratch.

Now after installing Studio One 6, I realised that some aspects of my previous configuration are missing, especially my entire list of external devices. I always thought that this is also stored in the User Data (and I did restore these folders already, and also updated the path in the Preferences).

I'm not really worried - I have several full backups of my former machine, so I can easily find this config file again. But where do I need to look for?

Usually these settings are in your:
user--> library--> application support---> presonus---> Studio One--> user devices

That was only half the job. After a restart the devices were still not in the list. I did the brute force method and copied all settings files from the backup to the new location. Now the list is at least filled with my devices again. Cannot do a real-world check though, because I'm away from my synths. But at least it looks ok now.

I would hit the brakes and do a full install from backup.

In fact, backup came from an Intel Mac.
