Midi Keyboard Problem

Hi all!
My name is Reggie and I'm a keyboardist.
My keyboard is a Casio Privia. I'm trying to connect USB-B (printer cable) to Midi In and Out on the Presonus AudioBox 96 interface.
I'm using an adapter cable to connect the MIDI (5 prongs) cord to the USB-B on my Casio Privia, as well.
Both Studio One and Keyscape do not recognize my Midi Keyboard. This is the problem!
At this point, I'm wondering if the issue is the adapter cable - but I can't see how this is the case, because the MIDI cable lights up signaling
to say the connection is working.
Do you think I need to buy a MIDI box, a different interface that uses a USB-C connection, or something else entirely? I'm out of troubleshooting options. It should be working, but it's not being recognized by the DAW or the Keyscape interface.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Reggie,

welcome to the forum!

I don't really understand the issue. Why do you need an adapter cable? Your Casio Privia supports USB MIDI, so you actually don't need DIN MIDI. Just connect your Privia to your computer via USB.

Then add your Privia in Studio One as I show in this video:
