Solved Linked channel folder missing in S1-7

I frequently link arranger folders and console busses. In versions before v7 this worked perfectly.
  • In v7 the arranger folder and console bus can be linked. That is, if I rename the folder, the linked bus is also renamed and vice versa. But the folder icon is missing on the console bus.
  • Pre-v7 opening or closing a linked folder on the bus also opened or closed the linked folder in the arranger and vice versa. Not in V7.
  • A song created in V6 containing linked busses and folders and loaded into v7 functions as expected from earlier versions. So it's only folders/busses which are linked in v7 that perform unlike earlier versions.
  • Saving a V6 file in V7 (so now it's a V7 file) and reopening it maintains V6 style behavior when linking folders and busses.
  • The images below show a file created in V6 ("S1-6") and loaded into V7 with the folder icon visible on the bus.
  • The other image shows a file created in V7 ("S1-7"). There is no folder icon on the linked bus and opening/closing the folder in the arranger has no effect on the console.
  • Are others experiencing this behavior? Any fixes? Thanks in advance!
  • S1-V7.1.1, Windows 11 Pro v24H2, Presonus Quantum HD8.
Both images were captured in S1-V7. S1-6 was created in V6 but loaded into V7. S1-7 was created and loaded into V7.

Works perfectly for me in V7.1.1. Color assignment carries over from Arranger to Console as well. Expand and Contract folder follows both windows.
  1. Select the tracks you want to add to a bus
  2. Right-click on the selected tracks
  3. Select Add Bus for Selected Channels
  4. A bus fader will be created
  5. Name the bus
  6. Select the tracks you want to pack into a folder
  7. Right-click on the selected tracks
  8. Select Pack Folder

Yes, the option that Lukas posted as well as "Link expansion and visibility of folder tracks" in case it's not checked.

Well, I'm suitably humbled. I had "Link visibility..." checked but not "Link expansion..." What I didn't realize is that the console settings are saved with the song file which is why my V6 files worked and my newly created V7 files did not. Once I checked "Link expansion..." the folder icon appeared on the console channels!
Thank you for your help and the solution!
