Hi All,

My first post here! I didn't realise that Presonus had made their forum only for + users - what a bad idea, lol. Thanks to the admins for setting up this one.

I've been using S1 Pro for a few years now, mainly for editing and mixing. Something that always surprises me is how many S1 functions have keyboard shortcuts yet are not mapped to a key/s by default. Over the years I've added my own shortcuts for repetitive tasks however it's been done in a haphazard way as I've needed them and without much system.

I was thinking that it would be good if there were some more logical way of doing this that included more (or all?) of the available keyboard shortcuts. Not sure mapping all is possible due to the large number but was thinking that long-time users might have developed something like this where a lot more than the default are mapped.

Anyone done this or have any thoughts on this?

If you find that your workflow uses several sequential commands often, one smart thing to do is create a macro that chains those functions into one keystroke.

Welcome to the Forum!

With over 1,500 commands/macros there's not enough keyboard combinations to map them all.
It's easy to map a command to a keyboard shortcut as well as exporting or importing keyscheme files.
What can be difficult is finding an available keyboard shortcut that's not already assigned.
I looked in PreSonus Exchange (and also the Internet) and couldn't find any keyscheme files posted or a section for users to upload or download them. If you find any resources for them feel free to post them here.

In addition to keyboard shortcuts, the Macro Toolbar along with macropages are very helpful for providing improved workflow results.
