Solved Just upgraded to S1 7- Melodyne?

Just upgraded to S1 7. Now in previous versions, Melodyne was a seperate download, using a seperate Serial no etc. Now in Stdio One 7,Melodyne seems to be fully integrated requiring no serial numbers, Please correct me or confirm TIA

Yes, from here on out, you won't need to do a thing, once you've initially registered Melodyne. That is unless you upgrade Melodyne to Melodyne Editor, Melodyne Studio or any other upgrade offering from Celemony. Studio One with Melodyne remains largely seamless through the upgrade process.

You just had Melodyne already installed, so that's why it's already there after you downloaded and installed Studio One 7. It simply uses the Melodyne that's already on your system. It's stiull a separate download, Melodyne is not integrated in the installer of Studio One

Great, Thanks for the quick reply, but that's two contradictory replies , so which is it lol. Also there's no link in the S1 7 my presonus to melodyne...hence the question

A (very) minor point is that if you upgrade to a version above Essential, you can no longer use Essential. I found this out when trying to verify whether a tip would work with Essential as well as Editor.

Maybe even Alpha Centauri on my Apple II!
