Importing Music XML

There's some issues with Music XML scores translating to Studio One as described in the video below. For example, you may use Notion or Notion Mobile to transfer a score directly to Studio One to mix it. That feature is really great. In such a use case the score could have been created in Sibileus or any one of multiple other applications, but since Studio One doesn't import Music XML, it would have to be loaded into Notion 6 or Notion Mobile to transfer it there.

Of course, if you don't also want or need the musical notation in Studio One, you can import a standard MIDI file. But to put a finer point on it, if for example all of your articulations are marked up in the score, you'll lose that and you'll have to recreate them again with Sound Variations.

If you do want to transfer the score including the notation and everything that comes with it, there's a few hoops to jump through as explained in the video. Given that PreSonus makes Studio One and Notion and the integration between them, some of the missing bits are a little puzzling.
