How to use Whammy DT MIDI functions in Studio One 6?

Hi everyone! :)
First time I post here and english isn't my first language, so I hope to make myself clear in any detail as best as possible.

I'm currently using Studio One and I want to use my Whammy DT pedal with an ESI MIDIMATE eX USB device. Whammy DT goes into my Scarlett Solo interface, into the 1/4" instrument port.
So, the MIDI is transported on my DAW with the ESI interface, and I want to record a guitar track that can transform in different octaves, shifts, based on MIDI automations from the Whammy DT... But I basically know nothing in how to make this work.

I'm currently watching this video: Whammy DT Reaper tutorial

It isn't easy for me because this person is using Reaper and everything is different. I've tried to search for a tutorial on YT and I can't find a single video that explains the same process on Studio One, and I'm a huge noob when it comes to routing MIDI devices.

So my question is: can you help me understand how to control this pedal in this DAW step by step? I basically want to make the same automations as Vildhjarta, Humanity's Last Breath, stuff like that, for reference.
I'm reaching in this forum of experts so I can gain help and help others too.

Thank you kindly!
