How to insert triplets into a 4/4 groove

Hey experts, what’s the common way to insert triplets into a 4/4 groove?

The pattern view is great, but it works in multiples of 4. How can I make the snare play triplets from time to time? I like to "code" in the Pattern this:


I got this far:


But now, i can only play triplets on the snare in this example. But i want to play 1/8 and 1/8T on the snare.

Use the least common multiple? To equally distribute either 2 or 3 sample triggers over a portion of a bar make that portion divide into 6 parts. That way you can trigger either 1st and 4th or 1st and 3rd and 5th.
