How to easily switch instrument libraries

Could you please fill your posting with some more information? :)
Just to drop a link without any words or description is a bit... kinda uncool.

Thanks
Ari

Apologies for that Ari. I was kind of multitasking and didn't think to write a good description...

The Load Instruments script function linked in the first post will load instruments on all selected tracks based on the track names. It's designed for composers who own and use multiple orchestral libraries, but it can be used for other purposes as well. It uses editable preset maps to load the correct presets based on the track names.

While I already had a script to load any instruments based on track names, the Steinberg Dorico method of swapping entire libraries led to this, to be able to do similar in Studio One sounded like a good idea to me, so I modified it for that purpose.

Thanks.

Is this a Mac only tool?
No... the tutorial video on the site shows it on Windows...

I downloaded the .zip file and all that unzipped was file called Load_Instruments.package
Yes. Just follow the instructions on the website:

Installation

After unzipping the download:

- Put the Load_Instruments *.package file into the Studio One \Scripts folder.
- Put the three preset folders in your User Data \Presets folder.
- Import the Load Instruments macro page into the macro toolbar

Thanks for that. I was doing an update to add troubleshooting messages for Lukas and forgot to add the other files to the new upload. It's been fixed. You can download it again from the website.

Also, there's a lot of unnecessary pairings in those preset map files from my use of MuseScore exports, using track names that you'll probably never see. I would encourage users of it to remove a lot of that and simplify the files, or of course, create your own for other instruments.
