Help me understand Sample One and it's ability to Loop (in Launcher) based on a single MIDI note

Trying to replicate an idea I came across from another content creator out there who uses Bitwig - and I am having a total roadblock.

In the example - he loads a long 2min sample of road noise, wind etc into the built in Sampler plugin and then triggers this sample - within a cell of the Bitwig Clip Launcher by recording a single MIDI note - let's call it C3.

If I do the same in S1 - I drag Sample One to a track, load my road noise sample, placing the cell in Record and record C3 for say - 1 minute - all seems well. I stop the Launcher cell, I see my long MIDI note appear and then hit play in the cell. S1 seems to behave - UNTIL that launcher cell loops around for it's next pass. The sample is no longer triggered by the note and cell falls silent. Same thing occurs if I use say - ADSR Sampler manager as a plugin and load/trigger a sample the same eway

Now I realize I could simply just drag the actual audio file right onto an audio track and run it as a traditional loop - but what am I missing with SampleOne. Why does it trigger the same in the first pass of a launcher cell and then fall silent on loop?

Use Presence instead - now that you have the Presence Editor which came free with 7.You can drag a sample in, and then set the start, end, and the loop point - all from the Editor. I have never used Sample One for anything.

Appreciate the tip. Had never used Presence like this before. Just tested it in an empty product - single track - seems to work fine.

BUT - I also added Sample One as Track 2 in this test project - dragged the same sample in there - recorded 16 bars of C3, set the loop markers and it works perfectly as well. Like so perfect I can see the playhead inside SampleOne move along the sample and then loop - just like the timeline playhead.

So....it's almost as if what I am seeing here - could be a separate issue - exclusive to trying this inside a Launcher cell. I will report back.
