Hi, when I use harmony wizard in studio one pro, I get no response. nothing shows up in my right click when I select things in note editor, and the prompts do not do anything. When I click on the harmonize melody with section, it tells me to select the scale in note editor first even when I already have done so. is this user error or is this a bug?

Hi and welcome to the forum,
"No response" is not very clear. When you open the "Action" menu in the Note Editor, you should see the "Chords" section with all the Harmony Wizard commands. If they show up, then Harmony Wizard is activated correctly. Otherwise, you need to activate again.
But if none of these commands do anything (and you don't see the HW commands in the Action menu), then HW is not activated correctly and you might need to repeat the activation process:

Neither. The caption in the toolbar is just a reminder for users who don't know that they need to select a scale first. The commands will still work with the "Chromatic" setting. However, you will get very strange (atonal) results.
