Harmony Wizard 1.1.1 is now available! Biggest new features are the Enrich Chords / Reduce Chords commands.

Version 1.1.1 Release Notes

New Features:
  • Enrich Chords: Add additional chord tones to enhance and enrich your harmonies.
  • Reduce Chords: Simplify complex chords by removing advanced intervals, making them more versatile for different musical contexts.
Improvements:
  • "Add Random Chords at Cursor...": This command is now also available for instrument parts in the arrangement view (accessible via the right-click context menu under "Musical Functions").

  • "Insert Chords from Chord Track" / "Insert Chords from Chord Track (in Loop)": These functions can now be triggered via keyboard shortcuts even when the Note Editor is closed.

  • "Full Orchestra" and "Full Orchestra (Low Bass)" macros: These macros now generate more than 4 voices when more than 4 tracks are selected, offering greater flexibility for orchestral arrangements.

  • Harmony Wizard macros: All macros are now grouped under the “Harmony Wizard” category with clear descriptions. You can easily locate them in the Macro Organizer by searching for "Harmony Wizard".
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue where "Insert Chords from Chord Track" occasionally created continuously ascending chord progressions when creating long chord progressions.

To download the latest version of the add-on, click the Help button in the Harmony Wizard toolbar.

The screenshot shows Studio One 7, but HW 1.1.1 is fully compatible with version 6.6.4 as well.

Awesome! Thank you Lukas!

How many harmony wizard installations do I have available? Since I have 5 studio one installations available, I wanted to know if by buying it once I can use it on all studio one installations?

This is on my list! Thanks. 🙏🏿

I am just grateful that Lukas et al decided to invest their time and effort to make this all happen.
Hey Chuck.. I noticed you have Windows 11 with your S1 and Quantum interface. I presently have a I7 4400GHs 32 Gb ram and Quantum. I'm considering an upgrade to Windows 11.. Have you noticed any differences between 10 and 11 if I may ask?
Thanks for you consideration on this matter.
Matthew

Matthew, I really have not noticed any differences in performace or operating characteristics between the two. based on the specs your computer has you should be good to go. i have recently done the win 10 to 11 update using the most recent ISO file from Msoft. in general it is a easy process. my only advice is to be patient with the process and it should go well. Good Luck!

Thanks for your advise. I think I will do this considering that 10 will not be supported after Oct 25.
Awesome.
