I've tried rebooting, Reconnect in Externals Devices screen

This happened mid day today. I used the hardware in the AM, came back later in the day and now this is happenning.

I've installed a few updates to some plugins but no major software updates to SO, or any other drivers of DAWs or other apps on the system.

My computer is set to *not* update Windows with the latest "when available".

Connected via a usb hub? If so, anything else on the same hub that's working?

Sorry, that's all I've got

Do you use UA Console? There is an issue with the last UA Console update. There's an option in Console to use a MIDI controller. The latest UA update has a bug where it latches onto all available MIDI controller even when you don't select a MIDI device in Console's options. Because of this, no other software (ie Studio One) can use these MIDI devices. The problem is due to UA, and not S1. You can uninstall UA and reinstall the older version (PIA but will solve the issue), or go to Task Manager and disable/end the task that UA is using to connect to MIDI devices. I think its called UA Mixer Helper, UA Mixer Engine, or something like that. You will have to do this on every PC start up before opening S1.

Everything else on the USB hub is working properly AKAICT. As of now the FP-16 is back up and running.

The S61 is on a USB-C hub. It's still not recognized even after the latest firmware update.
Power cycle, different port on the hub, cable ... ? Do you have a different PC to test the S61 on?

Fire up device manager and choose View-> Show Hidden devices. Delete any duplicates of your problem device(s). I've had a dozen entries for a device in there before.

I opened UA Console. It said it had a supplemental update. I installed it and now the fp16 and s61 are recognized by Studio One again.

Problem solved.
