Found this during a Reddit discussion yesterday:

It appears that Presonus has completed their testing and Mac OS 26 is cleared for use in S1 (plus a ton of Presonus specific hardware) :

My advice would be to check plugin compatibility before upgrading Chances are some plugins will need to update. It’s very hard to go back with Mac OS

To revert to a previous macOS version, back up your data, create a bootable installer of the older OS, boot from the installer, use Disk Utility to erase your startup disk, and then install the older macOS onto the clean drive. Alternatively, you can boot into macOS Recovery and use Time Machine to restore a backup made on the previous OS version.

All possible for sure. But all can be avoided by just checking plugin compatibility before you update the OS. Studio One is going to be much the same on any OS

All what can be avoided? Regardless of what you are doing with Studio One or any plugs, back ups should be made on a regular basis. Time Machine is a very simple way to backup & restore your Complete Mac System. I've done the restore several times. No problem and easy and, all files and complete system backed up.

Yes it is a good idea to use Time Machine I normally don’t use it but your post has inspired me to do so

That page is excellent. Thank you for sharing that link. Looking at that list updating to Tahoe-26 right now would not be a great idea.

Anyone know if Presonus is committed to making Studion On V6 compatible to MacOs 26?
I'd say snowball's chance of this, but I am not Presonus. V6 is no longer being developed though.

Concur. V6 is now discontinued.
