Follow the drum track?

Hi,
I am new to Studio One and am currently running the 30 days demo version. I have most experience with Logic as I have been a mac user for 20 years but as I just bought myself an ordinary PC I was also forced to change DAW and first ended up buying Cubase Pro. But i don`t like it very much and am testing Studio One now and I a find this much better and I like it a lot more. So I am now considering very much to buy the Studio One Pro 7 DAW.

Like I said, I really like Studio One a lot, but there is one thing that I just can`t seem to figure out that I have some troubles with. I have created a MIDI drum track and I want the drum track to be the lead track and I want all other instrument and vocal tracks to follow the rhytm and timing of the drums. In Logic I could just check a mark in the drum track on something called "groove track" or something and when I had marked it all other tracks would follow the rhytm of that one track. I wanted to do the same thing in Studio One but I can`t figure it out. Is there a way in Studio One to put the drum track as a "leader track" and get all other tracks to follow it?

I would be very grateful for any helping advice here.

Thanks,

Chris

Check this "using Groove Maps" to see if this is what you are looking for. I have never used this or noticed talk of it
on the this Forum or the old Forum. Please do follow up and let all know if you find something that is useful :}

Thank you tpittman for your reply. Groove Maps is not exactly what I am looking for but I appreciate the suggestion. I am starting to think that Studio One maybe does not have a solution for this exact thing, which is a bit disappointing as it according to Logic seems so very easy to fix. It has to do with timing between all the different instrument tracks. Here is a short Logic video explaining how the Groove Track works in Logic. This is exactly what i am looking for.

This is not really stuff in my workflow, but it seems to me you're looking for the tempo track. You can extract the tempo of a track to the tempo track and have other tracks lock into that. https://s1manual.presonus.com/en/StudioOneReferenceManual.htm#Arranging_Topics/Tempo_Track.htm
Once again, I'm not very familiar with this, so if I understood your issue wrong sorry for pointing out something pointless, but it would be a shame if I didn't get you on the right track...

Hi Gerran. Thanks for mentioning this, I appreciate it. I did read the instructions and watch the video but I was not able to notice there exactly what I was looking for but I might have over-looked something. Because what you say about other tracks locking into the tempo could sound like something similar. Could you please say where in the text it mentions the locking of other tracks so I can look at it again, I think I am missing something.
