Feature Request: Chord Progressions, Bass Patterns, and Chord Chop Presets

I’d love to see a few additions to Harmony Wizard:
  1. Chord Progressions by Genre
A library of chord progressions categorized by genre (pop, rock, jazz, etc.) would be super helpful. Also, the ability to add my own custom progressions to this library would make it even more useful.
  2. More Bass Patterns
Adding more bass pattern options would help create richer, genre-specific bass lines, especially for bass-heavy styles like funk, R&B, and electronic music.
  3. Chord Chop Presets
Add more chord chop presets (rhythmic stabs, syncopated patterns, etc.) would be great for creating progressions in genres like hip-hop, house, and trap.

These features would make Harmony Wizard even more powerful and versatile. Thank you for considering these suggestions!

Hey Justin,

thanks a lot for your feature requests! These are great suggestions, and I really appreciate your input.

I've actually had some ideas for implementing chord progressions, so it's good to hear that this would be useful for you as well. The other suggestions also make a lot of sense.

I can't promise a timeline, but I'll definitely keep these in mind as I plan future HW updates. Thanks again for your feedback!

The ability to add your own bass rhythms would really be a very useful feature for Harmony Wizard.
For example, I often use non-standard swing bass parts in my tracks. I would like to be able to add them to the Harmony Wizard bass rhythm database (if possible) so as not to re-record them in the piano roll each time. It is much more convenient to use them through Chop Chords.

@Lukas Thank you for your work and your wonderful Harmony Wizard!
