Solved Fat Channel items not activated...

So, I'm not sure if I'm not understanding something, or if this is something going on with my install....I have downloaded the various Fat Channel things. 5 of the 15 are activated...the other 10 won't activate. I've tried everything I can think of to make that happen. Any thoughts?

Please update your signature (see link in mine) with your system specs to help in responding to your issue.

Do you have the Studio One Pro+ subscription?

These are either part of a Studio One+ membership or a separate purchase. If you have/did neither of them you don't own them

Oh ok. It's weird that it shows up in my list then, isn't it?

No. I just have the yearly thing. It's so weird that it is in my "Installed Content" folder when I apparently didn't purchase it. That's kind of confusing.

Is this on a PreSonus mixer/interface or is it in Studio One? Your signature shows Universal Control which is only needed for PreSonus hardware...

Studio One. I also have a Faderport 8 and an Atom, both which use UC.

OK, did you download the installer for Windows? Exit Studio One, then amongst your products in your my.presonus.com account find one of the plugins and click on it to get to its product page, something like this (product codes greyed out):

Then download and install the Add-on installer for your OS (in my case MacOS). The page also provides a link to more detailed 'Install in Studio One' instructions. Do not download the hardware installers or the PreSonus Hub.

See how that goes :)

After doing some investigation, the several things that won't activate are exactly what some of you suspected. They were not purchased...however, they install with the Fat Channel plug in that IS available for free and comes with Studio One, but you have to purchase them separately to use them. This is confusing as it shows up under installed content in Studio One, just as Not Activated (as in my screenshot), but apparently, that's the way they decided to do it, probably to make it work properly with Studio One+ or something. There is no option to uninstall it either which makes my OCD very anxious. lol. Anyway, thanks to those of you that tried to help. This is apparently all on me and my misunderstanding. Thanks again.

Subscription should entitle you to 'everything', so maybe you have to claim the plug-ins rather than purchase them. But then maybe some items are excluded from the subscription package... Can you see product codes on your my.presonus products page?

No, I don't subscribe. I just have the perpetual license and will likely renew....which means, I'll probably just upgrade to the subscription since it's only like $20 more.

It's not. At the end of the year, it's done. You can either choose to keep using the software with no updates, or you can buy another year. You get to keep the license. You might lose access to the Grand Piano and the Orchestra stuff...of that, I'm not sure. The sub gives you even more access, as well as some kind of online collab thing and auto-renews at the end of the year.

You keep the Grand Piano and Orchestra, but you loose the extra Fat Channel devices and the Channel Strip Collection, as well as the MixFX, apart from the Console Shaper. And of course the cloud that comes with the sub.

What extra Fat Channel Devices and MixFX extras? I think that's the stuff that won't activate for me. I only have Console Shaper.

Also, for fun, I tried to reinstall Fat Channel, and instead, I get an error that says "Fat Channel isn't compatible with Studio One."
