Solved Crossgrade Discount ??

Joh Vere

New member
I have decided to ditch Sonar and purchase Studio one. I seem to remember seeing an offer for a crossgrade pricing to do this? I own 5 other daws.
Thank you - John Vere

Do not see a cross grade direct from Presonus option here anymore.

Actually, haven't seen one for a really long time - but I thought PreSonus did this in the distant past.

But there appears to be one here at Sweetwater:

Thank you, I looked and that seems like it would be a $50 discount for sure but in the end because I'm in Canada we currently don't support any American retail right now. Yes I realize Presonus is also American but my only choice would then be Cubase which is $840 Can. It totally sucks right now trying to shop.

From the Great White North myself - but I can't let the nonsense down south affect my working tools.

So I have purchased it but no matter what I do there's no way to now change from the demo? It say's the serial number is not for the version I have?? So I uninstalled it and downloaded the latest update. Still nothing works.
I don't see any where on the web site to contact support??
My User account say's I have no products purchased. I got 2 emails confirming I did.
Then on another page of my account is shows my purchase and serial number.
One possible glitch is that I used a different email to download the demo.
Would a total clean install clear that crap out??

What did you have installed previously? And what did you buy? Subscription? Perpetual?

Every S1 serial I have ever entered (after an upgrade etc) - has occurred on the Presonus site and not inside the software itself.

I have the demo I installed in February. It expired. This is the problem.
I just did what I would consider a clean install.
Uninstalled in Windows Apps.
Removed all folder found in Program files etc.
Deleted Presonus in REg Edit app.
Did a search for Presonus on C drive. Zero.
Re installed from web site get all the same dialogue boxes shown above. Obviously they have encrypted this somewhere and it thinks it's a different person.
I guess I'll have to contact support.

Do not think anything is encrypted at all.

But your purchase email had better be identical to the one on your Presonus account or you will have problems.

Log into your My.PreSonus account and register the product key...

Then activate it here...

Thanks for the further replies.
I sorted it out. What I was missing is a hidden list in the activation dialogue. Look in above screen shot and the little down arrow on the Product key. I just noticed that and there were 2 items, one was the demo version the other was the full version, I was trying to activate the demo version therefore the problem.
Only took 3 hours. It was right under my nose all along.

What is weird is when S1 opened it showed my list of projects and it totally remembered all my settings?? So I guess my clean uninstall wasn't clean enough. Oh well. Goodby Sonar. Hello S1.
