Ah, thanks for confirming Wolfger! I thought that maybe I had overlooked a setting somewhere. Hopefully they'll get that sorted out in the next maintenance release.Confirmed, I already mentioned this in the 7.0.1 discussion-thread. Also the insert-send section of the channel-strips are no longer coloured in 7.0.1
Yes, I had noticed that, too. I should have pointed that out in my initial post. Kinda defeats the purpose though of being able to identify a channel at a glance!Note that if you select the FX or bus channel, the strip does take on the color. In the pic, I've selected Slap, Vocal and Sunset, but not Bettermaker. Still a bug, just clarifying.

This is fixed in 7.0.2 update! My help ticket response indicated that my issue was forwarded to QA to be addressed in a future update
This was not intended. So it was a bug. Sorry for that.
Ari
Unfortunately nobody can give you internal future plans and infos.
But if you followed the Studio One developement and basic strategy over years, you may have noticed that S1 tries to avoid too many options. To keep that DAW as clean as possible despite the 1000 new features.
This is the reason why I did not upgrade to V7, the screenshots I saw hurt my eyes !Ari - I get that. But one thing Studio Dev should never do is change things that have been in place for years - in favor of "new" features.
I remain very disappointed (and that is VERY rare for me) over these color changes in v7 - which IMO still have not been justified one way or the other.
