Clicking Loops Tab Results in S1 Not Responding

I went through this when I first installed S1 v7. Clicking the Loops tab would cause S1 to freeze up. One of the maintenance updates fixed the issue, and everything was normal.

Now with 7.1, I'm back to S1 becoming unresponsive when accessing the Loops tab. The cursor turns into the spinning blue circle, and the task manager shows S1 as Not Responding.

I'll get my stats in my signature in a bit. I'm using Windows 10. Tested the Loops tab in S1 v6, and it still works as normal.

Another note is that I'm on the subscription. As of v7.1, none of my loop libraries or addons that come with the subscription currently show up on my programs page. Maybe there's some kind of server disconnect going on that's causing this?

Really frustrated because I work two jobs and the time I have to create is limited. This screwed up my whole evening.

Anyone else dealing with this issue?

You can drag in any preset file to recover your settings, but as it got solved this way, most likely one of those files is causing the issue.
Most likely the Studio One.settings file, which contain mosts preferences. But you can try it out.

Ok... So, this is weird. I haven't had time until tonight to put S1 through it's paces after renaming the settings folder and having a new one created. Budgeted time to go in and reset everything, but I didn't have to. None of my setting changed except the songlist

Turns out I had to remove both the v6 and v7 preferences to get the program to do a full reset, which is what I wanted. It still kept items like my plugin swatches in the browser view. I think what threw everything off is that I downloaded a script that was recommended on Reddit called View. I could never get it to work, but couldn't figure out how to remove it either.

This might be the offender that borked my list: https://s1resources.wixstudio.com/views

Starting mostly from scratch, and everything seems fine so far.

How did you set up the hierarchy? You mean the show/hide filter? You can also push back your plug-in settings as you still have the files.

I rewrote the folders hierarchy in the browser for all my plugins and instruments. Took forever.

The good news is that I imported the old settings and got everything back. The weirdest part is that I imported, one by one, every single setting and everything still works. Not complaining. Glad it worked out.
