Bounce selection to multiple events

Logical

New member
Hi all,

Is there any way to bounce selection to multiple events at the same time while retaining separate events? This is rather than the bounce resulting in one single file. If not then I suppose the way to do this is to bounce to a new track (with inserts off if I just want to keep the raw audio).

Thanks

I did some testing and I don't think there is at this time. Might make a good feature request though.

This would actually be an extremely useful addition/option. Currently the behaviour requires bouncing several events one by one.

You know you can highlight all of them one time and they'll all bounce on their own one by one, right?

For instrument parts, yes, but he's talking about audio events. If you select them all on a track and bounce, it consolidates them.

I guess I am not understanding this use case.

If I already have multiple audio events on a track - what is point of bouncing them at all - when can I can just drag them to where ever I need them to go?

I was talking events on separate tracks. But I'll do some testing and report back.

Here's the script to bounce all selected audio events as separate events. The feature will be added to Navigation Essentials at some point. For now, you can copy this .package file to your Scripts folder inside the Studio One app folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\PreSonus\Studio One 7\Scripts\ on Windows).

In Studio One, you will see a new "Bounce Events" in the Audio menu or in Keyboard Shortcuts.

If anyone has tried it, let us know if it works as expected.

Great script, thanks Luke!

Any chance I/we could get the source code for that for study purposes?

I'm interested in learning more about S1 scripting, but haven't taken a look at the code yet.

Due to agreements with Studio One development, I unfortunately cannot share any code - sorry. Perhaps this will change at some point when user scripting feature is officially available.
