Auto gluing MIDI recording inside inactive loop range

Hello! Thanks for making this forum btw Lukas. (y)(y)(y)

Does anyone know how to turn off that cool feature that glues MIDI recording to everything back to a loop start point. I usually have an inactive loop set, and if I am doing some retrospective recording within that loop, my recorded event extends all the way back to the beginning of the loop. This is whther there are other events already in place or not. It glues everything together. I'm not fond of that and I would like to turn it off.

Thanks for any insights,
John

I guess it is related to how you can double-click an empty area in the arrange window and it will create an empty event the complete duration of the loop markers. I just wish it wouldn't do it for a recoding. It is irregular and not consistent which makes it seem buggy.

My workaround is to use the „copy track“ (not complete) for any new recording I do to make sure I can edit a single part
