Solved Auto Arm

What would cause only some of my tracks to automatically arm (Record button becomes activated) when I click anywhere on the track?
This started happening very recently and I made no changes to my options or settings. And I can't find a setting to control this.
How can I disable this behaivor?

Now here is the deeper question . . .
How did that check box get recently checked, causing the unwanted auto-arm behaivor? I certainly didn't check it.
Or if it didn't recently get checked, then why all of a sudden did auto-arm behaivor appear on the scene?

I do it all the time myself. Especially when I do the "I wonder what this does.....?" and select something, then fail to see the immediate impact, until later, when I forgot I made the change. Studio One is very complex software.

Quite simply because I haven't made any changes to my settings in weeks and during those weeks no auto-arm took place. Then all of a sudden it started happening.
I'm thinking it was the result of a driver or software update.
Lot's of things can change as a result of updates.
