Hello
I am interested in Physically Modelled Instruments and found the SWAM Instruments from Audio Modeling.
also on Cybersale until 10. Dec 2024
I also read a little bit into the their history and there is also Sample Modeling
I'm reading through the posts about it in the VI Control forum.
Anyone here using these Techs in S1?
How do they perform with S1 in a bigger Setup?
I play around with the Trials for AM SWAM and I like it for the playability.
But the Sound is to clean and Synthetic.
I am not a pro, this is only my personal taste
Also it is very CPU hungry, hope they coming up with a GPU model fast.
Any tips how to make the sound more natural, dirty, instable, human?
At least the Sample Modeling Demo Videos on Youtube sounds more dirty and imperfect to me.
But I don't know if they will continue with the Development.
AM looks more active to me.
And what Input Controller do you use?
I looking at least for a Polyphonic Aftertouch Keyboard and maybe one of these Breath Controllers, they look fun to play.
I would be happy to receive any recommendations for good Polyphonic Aftertouch Keyboards.
Thx for sharing your Thoughts and Knowledge
