Just read about this new Win 11 bug - for USB connected devices.

Seems the whole issue seems to be centered around gaming - but I am thinking any USB audio device might be within reach.

VP. Good advice about looking after your ears.
I had a quick scan and it appears the origin goes back to Win Vista and one of the links in that article references an "official Microsoft documentation" from 2021. From what I could grasp it's related to WSAPI and MMDevices, there didn't seem to be any mention of Asio?

You would hope that if Asio was involved Music software companies would be alerting their customers to the risks as our ears are a big part of
that package.
