Are there commands corresponding to the buttons on the step-record toolbar?

I would love to be able to do step recording with my right hand on the Midi keyboard and my left hand on the Stream Deck to vary the step length and add rests. I don't want to have to move my right hand to keep accessing the mouse.

As far as I can tell, that requires me to be able to invoke the actions on the step-record toolbar - presumably by keymapping. But I can't find these command actions anywhere. Are they not exposed (to keymapping or macros) other than the on-screen toolbar buttons??

It's true that there are no commands for the Step Record step length. The only commands I see are:

Ah well. It seemed like a good way of quickly and easily using step edit for music entry.

I somehow assumed that every action command that had a button on a toolbar (or a menu command) was something that could be used for a keymap or in a macro. Obviously that is not the case

Thanks for looking - it was useful to have a second pair of eyes here, to make sure I hadn't missed something.
