Verse 1
From the stars, they came, with hearts of gold,
A mission clear, a story to unfold.
Sent from Andromeda, to light our way,
To guide us through the darkest day.

With wisdom deep, and knowledge grand,
They offered peace, an open hand.
But we, in our pride, and endless fight,
Couldn’t see their gift, through blinded sight.

Chorus
Oh, Andromeda, hear our plea,
We’ve lost our way, can’t you see?
We tore ourselves apart, in vain,
Deep in the Andromeda Refrain.

Verse 2
We built our walls, we drew our lines,
In the race to be the first in their eyes.
Brother against brother, nation against nation,
All for a false salvation.

Their eyes grew dim, their hearts grew cold,
Seeing the ruin, our hearts behold.
Their dream for us, now a shattered mirror,
Reflecting the hate, the pain, the fear.

Chorus
Oh, Andromeda, hear our plea,
We’ve lost our way, can’t you see?
We tore ourselves apart, in vain,
Deep in the Andromeda Refrain.

Bridge
If we could turn back time, undo the scars,
Reach out with love, not battle stars.
Maybe then, their light would shine,
And peace could be, yours and mine.

Verse 3
Now the stars grow dim, their ships depart,
Leaving us with broken hearts.
We had the chance to change our fate,
But now it’s lost, it’s far too late.

Chorus
Oh, Andromeda, hear our plea,
We’ve lost our way, can’t you see?
We tore ourselves apart, in vain,
In the Andromeda Refrain.

Outro
In the silence, we remain,
Echoes of our endless pain.
A lesson learned, a truth to gain,
In the Andromeda Refrain.
In the Andromeda Refrain.

Cool rocker Baps!

Very well done, excellent clarity on the production. It has a surprisingly "live" sound for what I presume is a creature of the studio. I really like the changeup at 4:00, and you gave it almost a full minute before getting back to the main theme. That's a great touch, arrangement-wise.

Tell us more...what's the story behind the recordings in different locations and with different DAWs?

Citizen Regen is a "virtual band where Ken and I are the core writers. We met on the Cakewalk forum but eventually migrated to Studio One for all the obvious reasons.

Typical flow is I arrange the song, write the lyrics and then let Ken develop the vocals/melody, and then ask all the other musicians to interpret their parts. Then I pull the tracks together and mix/produce/agonize/rinse/repeat ad nauseum.
