Advanced Tempo Detection

Hello...

Been experimenting with the advanced tempo function in S7. I can't seem to get a vsti (e.g., Ezdrummer or Addictive drums) to retard when I slow down an acoustic guitar at the end of a song. The majority of the song is fine and the vsti follows the tempo well, but not at the end... any ideas? Thanks!

I don't know the nature of your guitar part, but tempo detection requires a strong downbeat. Possibly, you could copy the guitar track and modify it to make tempo detection happy, like inserting a kick drum on the downbeats. Then, use the copied track for tempo detection. Circle back to let us know whether that works or not.
